Why the name SHILANDIA
The philosophy behind the name "Shilandia" is profound in its simplicity.
In Hindi, "shila" (शिला) symbolizes a stone or rock—strong, enduring, and foundational. Similarly, girls' education and women's empowerment are the bedrock of India's progress, essential to the nation's strength and development.
"Shilandia" embodies this belief, representing the unshakable foundation that empowered women and educated girls provide, building a resilient and prosperous India.
